Yep! The eve of Christmas Eve!! I LOVE this day of the year! You are either beginning to slow down and enjoy the Christmas holiday or you are in full force CrAzY HuRry And GeT It DoNe mode!! Which one are you???
I am in the first camp. The kids are all here, gifts are wrapped, decorations done and now I can sloooow down and look forward to the next two days of celebration and worship. So….Since I am full on in the Christmas Spirit, I want to share with you one of my favorite Christmas items. Several years ago, I was gifted this book by a friend. The Heart & Home of Christmas by Karla Dornacher. It immediately became a favorite part of my Christmas every year!
It is a small book FULL of JOY and JESUS and the most precious illustrations you have ever seen!! I put it out on the little table in the reading nook in my kitchen. It is such a treat to flip through it all season long!!
Karla beautifully writes and illustrates about nine different names of God.
Each section contains a sweet devotion, decoration ideas, recipes, and Christmas tips and suggestions for a worshipful Christmas.
Her illustrations are wonderfully sweet and tender and just seem to come straight from her heart for Jesus!
