Hi there!! Merry Christmas Eve Eve!
Yep! The eve of Christmas Eve!! I LOVE this day of the year! You are either beginning to slow down and enjoy the Christmas holiday or you are in full force CrAzY HuRry And GeT It DoNe mode!! Which one are you???
I am in the first camp. The kids are all here, gifts are wrapped, decorations done and now I can sloooow down and look forward to the next two days of celebration and worship. So….Since I am full on in the Christmas Spirit, I want to share with you one of my favorite Christmas items. Several years ago, I was gifted this book by a friend. The Heart & Home of Christmas by Karla Dornacher. It immediately became a favorite part of my Christmas every year!
It is a small book FULL of JOY and JESUS and the most precious illustrations you have ever seen!! I put it out on the little table in the reading nook in my kitchen. It is such a treat to flip through it all season long!!
Karla beautifully writes and illustrates about nine different names of God.
Each section contains a sweet devotion, decoration ideas, recipes, and Christmas tips and suggestions for a worshipful Christmas.
Her illustrations are wonderfully sweet and tender and just seem to come straight from her heart for Jesus!
I read this book over and over again every Christmas! This is not in any way a sponsored post. I just want to share with you a peek into one of my Christmas favorites. This book is no longer in print but you can see more of Karla’s work on her website www.karladornacher.com .…. She is a gem!!
Since I love this book soooo much and you can no longer buy it in stores….I searched high and low and found a couple of copies!! I WANT TO GIVE ONE TO YOU!!!!! To be entered to win a copy of The Heart & Home of Christmas just comment on this post, share my blog out on Facebook, twitter or Instagram and tag me.
Make sure you are following me on instagram @lonestarbarn and on Facebook @Shawn Robertson-Creamer and Twitter @thelonestarbarn
I will hold the drawing on Christmas day! You will not get the book in time for Christmas but you will be eager to dive into it to ready your heart for next Christmas!
Have a very Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!! XOXOXO
