Holiday Gift Guides

So if you have been on social media lately, or in the stores or basically ANYWHERE but under a rock, you know there is no denying....THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IS HERE!!!

Now, I am not the type that has all my holiday shopping finished and wrapped by October 1st, but I don't want to wait until the very last moment either. I actually enjoy the process of looking for the perfect gift for that special person.

The last few days I have been trying to create my Christmas gift list. Whether shopping online or in stores, it can be overwhelming to browse through endless possibilities with no idea or direction. I try to group my shopping by category. I decide what aspect of a person's life I want to give a gift for. For example, Aunt Mary is an avid reader so I would like to give her a gift related to reading. Maybe my neighbor, Sue is a reader too. READING becomes one of the categories I will be shopping for. So I wont be browsing through the entire mall but only the bookstore. shopping just became much easier!

These are some of the categories I will be shopping in this year:

Cooking and baking

Cowgirls and Cowboys

Home Decorating

Hunting and Fishing

Most of the people on my list will fit into one or more of these categories. Over the next couple of weeks, in this blog series, I will share some of my favorite things to give in each of these categories. Some are gifts I have given in the past and some will be new things I've discovered and want to give this year. If anyone on your gift list fits into one or more of these categories, join me here and we can shop and find that perfect gift together! It truly is better to give than to receive!
